One contract, two worlds

In a separate Top Tip, I described the two principal

approaches to International Business based on

intercultural differences, i.e. the Deal focus vs the

Relationship focus.

One very clear and specific element of this is the way

these two cultures relate to the contract, and each side's

view of its centrality to cementing the agreement

between the parties.
